Went and helped Matt and Robby with a snow recovery up in the mountains above Indianola Utah. I didnt get near enough video, like normal. So heres some of my point of view of the recovery.

It's the most bad ass, well-equipped rig on the trail and that's a fact! I'd also bet that trailmater will go more places the 97% of off roaders!

Absolutely agree... This channel feels so much more genuine and I think the LACK of music, sound effects, people yelling and dancing makes it so much easier to stay interested in what's actually going on with the recoveries.

@@berniedmj1 Matt has said multiple times that he doesn't even like airing up an airing down on the two vehicles between recoveries because it's too time-consuming. How receptive do you think he is to putting on and take off tracks on those vehicles. Yours might be a good suggestion, I don't know. But I'm sure tracks on the Morrvair and Banana are a slim chance.

Your video doesn't show it, but you were definitely the MVP in this recovery! I live in Price and spend a lot of time off-road in the Swell/Moab area, and if ever I get stuck you're definitely the person I'd want comin' after me.

Great recovery, without the Trail Mater the Snow Cat would have stranded with the loose track. "This truck has a soul" Matt said, and that is correct, he listens to the name Rory!

Rory I as sorry that your lovely young assistant couldn't come but We understand that it was not the best conditions out here today. Hey Rory, great job! I came to your channel after seeing you helping Matt and Robby. New subscriber. I also watch Paul and Casey. You guys are awesome. So much knowledge and experience. I’m learning some things and really enjoying the content. I liked the way you explained your rigging configuration/techniques. A decade ago I did work as a Heavy, High Hazard rigger. It’s good to see everyone thinking about safety and looking out for one another.

Thank you for being brave enough to talk about true winch rope safety. Its refreshing to see people are out there that are willing and able to see beyond the popular narrative and additionally willing to talk about it in a public forum. I agree with you completely, the rope wont seriously hurt you when used correctly.

Rory, I think, maybe, you edited out some of the great work you did to rescue the whole job. I'm glad Matt sent us over to your channel to fill in the blanks as to how this whole night/day went down. i wanted to stop and tell you how much i appreciate the raw content. Many content providers in this segment are editing and filming from a different perspective. Im a one man army at my shop, film and edit my own, i know how hard it is. I find your videos to be inspiring. Keep marching to the tune of your own drum my man, i enjoyed this so much. Laughed almost the entire way through, and not a safety concern one. Well done, is many aspects.

Well done Rory. As I have commented to Matt, it is fantastic how you blokes with "rival" businesses are all close friends and happily work together to share the load. Unfortunately it is not so common in these "enlightened" days. Also, thank you for looking after the lovely Miss Lizzy. She is a real gem. If only I was 55 years younger and didn't live in Aus.

I love Matt's Offroad recovery, but my heart is much closer to Trail Mater. Matt doesn't carry enough tools, but you my friend are the Macguyver and Swiss Army Knife Combo!!!
