The "Bob" it's a special place, and the fabled Chinese Wall is a great example of why this area in Montana is well worth a visit. The “Wall” is over a thousand feet high. This massive escarpment towers overhead and glows in the morning sun. It’s a two-day ride just to get to the wall but well worth the effort.

Love it! Perfect music too. We pack on burros and mammoth donkeys and hike the trails while leading them. We wouldn't be able to get into the backcountry without our wonderful donkeys. Thanks for the video!

8:56 you use what looks to be the exact same climbing swivels and carabiners on your high line that I use on mine for what looks to be the exact same reason I do. Great video!

Hello from Montana! Robert, what dates were you there? I was impressed that there was still so much green grass and did you run into many other parties packing stock? Was it hard to find a secluded campsite near the Wall? Also, appears there were just two of you--how many days were you out that you needed two pack animals? Filing your answers away for my own adventure!

Perri! Great to hear from you! We had planned on being out for 16 days but had to head back on day 8. We saw very few stock users on the trip and none at the wall. The bear grass was lush at the Wall, but the ponies wouldn't touch it. For stock water at the wall, we dipped coffee cups into seeps and then into a bucket.
