Heres what i use. It tastes good to me. Oat flour, water, sea salt. Its like a hard tack that wont break your teeth. If the flour itself doesnt have enough binding for your liking, add some honey! God bless!

Fun fact and aside from this perfect recipe... 'Best by' isn't a food safety date. It won't do you any harm using backing powder that's years over that.

I came here to see how many people use the front puck holes or the rear puck holes for the chains. Is there a reason why you use the rear puck holes?

The etymology of the word might be Roman, (as are a lot of words), but the "bannuc" dates back to 8th century Scotland and Northern England They were originally made with barley or oats (I still use oats) and you can add dried fruit or even meat to them

I really enjoyed this video, I have a home made hd aluminum trailer apparently it on a Moritz frame. I love my trailer but I have visions of a camping kitchen like the one you show here. I also love the ladder and your ability to haul hay on top. Id love to know how you keep it dry. I love camping with horses however the hay storage is a challenge. I am now convinced that I need solar in my little trailer. 😊 Good job 👍

@@HorseandMuleAdventureswithTraithank you sir. Just curious, why would someone use a diamond hitch/double diamond over a box hitch, vise versa? Is it just a preference thing?
@HorseandMuleAdventureswithTrai4 ай бұрын
@@DoubleKMustangs I can't speak for others but for me I use a basket / box hitch to hang the boxes and then use a flavor of the diamond to hold the top pack and both of the boxes as one unified part that moves together as one.
@DoubleKMustangs4 ай бұрын
@@HorseandMuleAdventureswithTrai that sounds exactly like what I want to accomplish. I’m hanging Utah Bags or canvas panniers with a light top back that I want to secure with a diamond hitch.

Hi, thanks for sharing this video. I wanted to ask about choosing a length for the rear cinch. How should you meausure it, will it be a similiar size to the front cinch? Ive never actually seen anyone comment on sizing so I wanted to ask. I have a mule for the first time and was thinking to just use two mohair cinches on her. When I had a gaited horse previously we never used one. Thank you so much ❤

So I paused this at 8:05 and made them but I used a gluten free flour blend and subbed the oil for butter and the oil for frying I subbed lard. I burnt them on the sides but they are still the best tasting bread I have eaten using gluten free flour blend. I have a couple in the air fryer right now to see how that works out.

I used to think BIC was tried and true then for the last 9 months every time I have bought one it has been about 80,000x to high. Example a new bic produces a flame between 3/4 of inch to an inch large. I am not exaggerating they have been 6-7 inches large when freshly purchased. Yo FACTORY! Anyways looked up bic hacks to turn it down. Anyone wondering use the little white circular thing under the flame nozzle when you open it. It's adjustment tag DOES NOT exist and you will need needle nose plyers or a firm stick that will fit in a grove between the rotary pieces of plastic and the plastic housing to adjust. With the nozzle for flame release pointing towards you left is - and right is +

They matter so much that I was told by one of the mules experts out west if a person selling a mule don't ride with one never buy the mule. I live in the flat lands of the USA. I was wondering if that applies to my area also. He said the mule will be damaged and have future problems. I have had horses all my life now looking for a mule for trail riding now my rodeo days are done. Is this true, or is this only for mountain areas? Most people I see don't use them down south where I live I will always use one because I want what's best for my animals, and it makes sense to me. Britchins only no courpier. Thanks for sharing great video. 👍

I have a question about that. You say to unplug the hookup on the trailer and then pull the pin. So if you leave it hooked up and pull the break away pin is that going to fry your brakes on the trailer because your putting 24 volts to your trailer wheels. Would that be hooked up in parallel or series. If it breaks away and the pin is pull and your chains are pulled tight and your plug is still in wouldn't that have 24 volts going to your brakes. Will that burn up the magnets on the axle. And does the feed from your vehicle keep the battery charged.
@HorseandMuleAdventureswithTrai9 ай бұрын
Mark, Excellent few points! When I'm checking the brakes it's a very short time that the pin is pulled and the brakes energized. Maybe 1-2 minutes. Not long enough to cause problems.
