Wow! Thanks for the morning adrenaline rush! Another TrailPeeks classic! The “pucker factor” was a 10/10 the whole way down!

I rode D-Ville yesterday and despite it seeming super busy in town and up on Packer Saddle, the trail didn't seem very busy at all. I was also amazed at how good the dirt was. Those summer thunder storms we've been getting have left a decent amount of moisture in the soil.

Its a tiny town, but a massive trail

Ah yeah, I live just 50 minutes away in Nevada City. Side note: ~10 years ago I rode with your boy Stan and Brett Macadam (it was the first time any of us had ridden Downieville). I remember Stan was super bummed because he forgot his helmet and had to use Brett's Protec skatepark helmet. Haha

Nice 👍🏼 super Flow!! Looks like your vid quality was a tad better then mine but I’ve been struggling just getting good 1080 let alone the fact that KZbin only lets me have 720... weird how amazing the footage actually looked and then to be disappointed by how my KZbin came out~ anywho it was sick to get out and See Downieville for the first time and chase some fast friends! Great trails up there & will have to come back for a second trip! 🙌🏼😎🚲💨

@mickeyfimbres68296 жыл бұрын
I was there May 30 / June 1, and I would agree about the conditions. That'll be the fastest it'll be all year. I know I hit some hi 20's and a couple of 30's and I don't really want to be riding that fast. But when the conditions are that good it sucks you in. You just don't want to slow down.

Ripped. FIrst time I've seen a Downieville video when it wasn't dusty and blown out. Looks a lot more fun with those conditions. Beautiful terrain too. People need to see CA to know how pretty it is there. All we hear about is how they continue closing trail, and that CA hates MTB'ers. It's good to see there are still some premium spots to ride.
@TrailPeek6 жыл бұрын
We live in a great spot where we usually avoid most of the MTB hate. There would be a lot more riding all over the state if people were more open to MTB

Trail Peek I can't think of anywhere else? I live in napa valley and ride all over Northern CA. In the valley alone we have a lot of existing and new trails which are built and maintained by mountain bikers. Shame about boy scout getting dozed soon but that's because of housing development :( and sucks about martis last year too, so true to some extent

@daverichardson63346 жыл бұрын
I can't imagine riding that fast and staying in control. Do you just stay relaxed and let the bike do the work? I have a 2018 Canyon Strive so I know it has the capability with 170mm up front and 160mm out back.

*Flame suit on* As someone who's edited videos, it seems like a lot of the riding footage is sped up by like 10%. The pedalling motions, the way the bikes are landing, a few other things. I know you guys rip and normally love watching your channel, but it's a bit off-putting.
@TrailPeek6 жыл бұрын
Sorry, no doctoring here. Does it sound sped up? Do the riders up front look weird?
