San Diego!...I'm hearing Romana and Glamis in your video. The San Diego area has always been an off-roaders dream. I grew up in the El Cajon area with Ron Lechine, Brock Glover and Ricky Johnson. I miss home!

I saw the notification on my phone that there was a new rig walk around and immediately grabbed my computer to watch it big screen! Love the videos! Keep them coming!

Absolutely going to try and gets some variety of rigs and hoping to get some older mode Jeeps, take a look at some other brands of off road rigs, but will definitely take a look at some 2 door JK's in the future. Thanks!

I've been watching your channel for a bit now and have to say great job!!! I like the mixture of wheeling and product information videos. I moved up here to Canada from the U.S. so I really miss the trails down south and watching your vids helps lol
@TrailRecon8 жыл бұрын
Awesome! We try to mix it up on the channel, but it's great to hear folks enjoy the variety. With all that forest up there, I would think there has to be some good wheeling? Thank you!
@leedixon78 жыл бұрын
Oh there is some good wheeling but it's totally different than out west. The Rubicon trail is what I base all my expectations from lol it was awesome

That is a DAMN GOOD LOOKING RIDE!!!! Its good to see other enthusiasts with 40s!!! I recently got mine done with 40's too and I love them! I have a 2016 JK Unlimited Sport S. Swapped the axles for RokJok 60, 5.38 gearing, and ARB Air Lockers. Rubicon Express 6" Extreme Duty with Coil Over Conversion kit and PSC steering assist. Poison Spider all around except for RockSlide Engineering Sliders/Steps! Just to mention a few of the mods... The ride is fantastic and actually drives better than stock.
@TrailRecon8 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a nice ride! Great decision going with the 60's, I know that's something he is planning to do soon.
@KoKoTee8 жыл бұрын
yeah, my last jk was a 2010 Rubicon and after 6 years of wheeling I had actually bent the front knuckles to where the tires were starting to tilt inwards at the top.

Very nice jeep. With 40s, you should really be looking at upgraded complete axles. Your 44 ring and pinion is reeeeeeally weak with tires that big and especially running 5.38 gearing. Just be careful when wheeling those stock internals!

@dmgmail70214 жыл бұрын
Dont bother. I did that to my 2010. Was biggest waste of money. Still week transmissions all it does is override and sp has high spool rpm before it kiks in and that is not good for crawling. Go with LS motor and transmission upgrade.

I've built a comparable rig...started with a 20k base model sport. Put in about 25k lots of work done myslef except for welding longarm and axles. To have all the extras done by a shop its about 30-40k, that does not include the original price of the base Rubicon.
