Trails in the Sky SC Chapter 7 Renne Nightmare

The first real fight in a long time - it's a pretty brutal start, especially since Renne moves twice before any of my characters move once. I had to restart a bunch of times (more or less every time she used blood circle with her 2nd turn I had to restart immediately, as it pushes my characters too far apart to use Kloe and Kevin's S Breaks afterwards, not to mention the huge amount of damage I take from it).
After the kind of brutal beginning to the fight it becomes pretty boring though and can be dealt with like almost every other fight (especially the 2nd boss fight which can't really do anything against earth guard).

I personally don't really care about finishing game in the hardest difficulty, I rather only enjoy the story and lower the difficulty when things are getting way too hard for me. but it really is interesting to see someone else's battles like this

I feel like I'm being unfair. When I fought Renne in this it wasn't so hard. I equipped all my characters to prevent deathblow and petrify. Then I continue to use earthwall from Tita and Estelle. After strengthening Joshua I use his S craft (True Black Fang) and all her minions were done. All I gotta do is heal my characters and debuff Renne. For Pater-Mater I just used earthwalls and clockups and this took me less than 10 minutes. But this is coming from normal mode and my characters were lvl 79. Maybe I should've played in nightmare mode

Minh Vu on normal that’s about riht, but on nm the survivabiloty of the minions is just too high for that to be the only thing you need. Though true black fang would’ve helped him a LOT

LV 75 party With Kevin and Schera. DB/PT acc, using Kevin max guard to block Rennede then orbal down and death scream with joshua until minions dead. Clock up EX casters and Clock down Renne while the occasional earth wall. After that just nuke her with your best single target arts untll low enough to use morale/S-craft nuke. GG.

Anyone know a fix for what comes after the animated cutscene? It crashes instantly after professor Russel asks the general to go down with the airship....
