Thank you for explaining the rules, because I didn't understand it right and that's why in my first game I made only 18 points - wrong understanding and concise rule booklet. I thought that I must connect the water dragon to 4 ports to score 4 points.

9!? I'm going to break it out some more I think as I must be missing something, 9 would put this game in my Top 100 and that's not happening. It's fine and works, but this genre is so bloated now that they all feel the same bar the odd gem (Harvest Dice for e.g.) that actually puts some player interaction in and tries a unique twist. Here there's no interaction with players again so the whole 1-8 player thing is pointless, it's a solo game. This one works fine and is quick other than people AP'ing over where to draw their trail, but it's felt very generic - not a unique bone in its body and I think that's going to hurt my replay value of it. Avenue 1.5 essentially. I still think however it will appeal to fans of the genre and that's cool.

Nah, Zee is spot on with his review. The tension as the game builds towards its climax it what makes the game. Because the distribution is known and (almost) the whole deck is used, it’s possible to make wildly ambitious gambles that can juuuuuust pay off due to working out the probabilities. I really liked Avenue but this pips it.

I wouldn't want to wait for someone who is spending ages mapping out the probabilities of the cards though in a filler. You can only react to what's drawn.

The Broken Meeple No waiting in our games. It’s hardly rocket science.

@@jeremyoverton7047 I Agree but many will still take their time thinking of the best trail, they exist.
