A Local Favorite - Pickle Gulch - Blackhawk Co

Technically Forest Service Road 718.1 is called Pickle Gulch because of the name of the campground at the trailhead. The road is fine for most 4x4 vehicles with some good ground clearance and there are a few interesting sites along the way. The snow will get quite deep during the winter, so it is best to avoid it after the snows start.
