Excellent. Its nice to see some used tools on here. Instead of the tool collectors toolbox tours.

Good stuff bud, thanks for sharing! Nice to see another brit doing toolbox tours! there isn't many of us lol. Little messy for me but if it works for you then all good! The sockets in the 3/8 bahco case were britool expert but not draper, good tools!
@nolimit78 жыл бұрын
+The Savage Garage yer I know I got so many different brands of tools at home and at work I just get mixed up at times draper expert, britool expert etc. The britool expert 3/8 socket set I was given was too big to fit in my box so just taken out the bits that I needed and put them into that smaller bahco case.

man working on trains must be hard work. I can tell you use everyone of the tools in your box thanks for sharing. I like the modified what we call plumbers wrench in one of the first drawers that you opened
@nolimit78 жыл бұрын
+James Johnson yes working on trains is hard work because everything is gigantic but the body gets used to it after a while.

Looks good, looks good. I like the dirty tools, but part of me just wants to spend a whole day cleaning them. I keep all mine super clean, but that's because I worked in a slaughterhouse, and dirty tools would get you a stern, stern talking-to by government quality inspectors.

Hmmm. My tools aren't dirty and I use them 7 days a week. Difference is I run them through my parts washer when I'm done for the day BEFORE anything goes back in the box(es). I also sweep and wash the floor with a couple bourbon and cokes.

Its great to see a collection of work tools that isn't used for car repairs/servicing and from UK.The only Roebuck tools I own,are a few taps and dies and one open end spanner.Do you work on mainline trains or underground?
@nolimit78 жыл бұрын
+g w pee Roebuck tools can take a good beating. I work on mainline. Your picture just reminded me a got a 55mm spanner too just like the one in your picture but was not in my box at the time.
@gwpee17278 жыл бұрын
+nolimit7 I used to work on railway plant,ballast/track laying,cranes,etc back in the 1990's,at Ashford,Kent.The 55mm Spanner isn't from that time though,but factory repair/maintenance.

@nolimit75 жыл бұрын
I never knew Bob Marley owned a colour scheme. When working in a large workshop with loads of other engineers some of us will put a colour scheme on our tools so they don't get mixed up with others and incase we loose a tool and find it we know who it belongs to.
