you really think this woman is the antonym of Lost? in my little male brain thinks that someone that ingest these hard core suicide mission street drugs in an uncontrollable fashion with no regard to death must have alot of past they want to depart from, or losss for awhile. I really think this legal system needs to up the sentencing parameters when it comes to molestations , predentary grooming of any type of pedophilia. this has to be like middle eastern judgement outcomes because look at what it really does to the victims way of life. Makes me want to just pray , just pray cus my heart hurts for these unexpecting victims

This is wild. She's an old friend of mine. Last time I saw her was like sixteen years ago, when she came to visit. At that point it had been a few years since I'd seen her. We were pretty close back in like 2004. Me, her and my best friend baughb would hang out, get stoned, listen to music, and talk for hours. Those were the days. It's so cool seeing her in this video. I'm glad she's happy.

I think she is less selfish than most of the people Mark has interviewed. They have children out of selfishness: "Hey everybody. My life sucks. I'm homeless and on crack. My boyfirend is threatening to leave me. I know... I'm going to have a baby and that will makes things better." I am not exageraritn; Mark has 1000s of hours of interviews of Skid Row derelict people saying they had babies for this reason.

These people are so selfish to the conductors & engineer on trains. My dad is a life long railroader & he has to deal with these irresponsible, selfish people that try to get themselves killed, so conductors can find their mangled bodies or worse watch them get plowed over & suicided. It happens often & it never leaves them. You traumatize the railroad workers & they live with ptsd from witnessing young people killed or ran over or trying to jump the train & instead end up under it. Be respectful of fellow humans. Why is that so hard to do for so many Americans? Who gives you the right to jump trains, which is illegal, dangerous & puts others, not just yourself in danger? You cost taxpayers money too & affect freight train schedules & whatever they're caring to get there on time. That can also mess with the Arrival times & yard master trying to direct where all the trains go so they don't cross paths. It's not harmless messing with trains. You're a criminal & affecting many lives beyond your own. Gain respect for other people, their job, their income & their hard work & choose a hobby that doesn't harm others negatively & that isn't illegal.

Hold on a minute.. men may have been the ones hopping, but here's one for you.. My great grandmother Ivey was what they called.. "headstrong" in the 30's lol. She married a man twice her age and ran off at 18 from South Texas to California. 2 babies and several black eyes later she'd had it.. She was too proud to call her dad for help (which he would have sent immediately), so at 21 she bought them tickets as far as she could and worked at a local diner until she had enough to get a few towns further. She, my grandfather and his sister slept at the restaurant and they hung around all day with her, getting fussed over by whatever ladies were available. She did this all the way back to Texas. People were built different then, I'm sure of it. I was very lucky to have her in my life (hellcat that she was lol) until I was in my 30's.. the woman lived forever, and to name my daughter after her. ❤

Even poor people have cars and phones in 2020, so if you see someone without a phone, without a car, without clean clothes, not working during normal business hours, just loitering for no good reason, youre safe to make some judgement calls in 2020 onwards because the only ones without are addicts and criminals just trying to get by without education or a home. In 1930, sure, all of the above were luxuries most people were not privy to, so people didnt make the snap judgements I just explained. It's not a shame that mostly every family lineage has had a comeuppance into middle class territory, very few people are impoverished in developed nations by percentage of the total that arent, compared to 100 years ago, so no one will blame you for judging a book by its cover, for good reason. If it acts like a duck and talks like a duck

I know exactly what she's saying about taking things for granted. I was an addict for 13 years and homeless for 3.5. I would go weeks, sometimes months without a proper way to bathe. To to be able to do that now whenever I want is amazing and such a blessing. To be able to flush a toilet, plug my phone in without having to find a public place to do it, to have a phone at all. Running water, a refrigerator and oven, Central heat and air. These are things people don't realize are blessings rather than expectations. I thank God every single day for the small things in life that I have now that I once didn't. She looks so much older than 34. She's had a hard life, but she is full of experience and wisdom.

@@psychedelicate crust punk subculture is filled with hypocrites who illegitimately beg for money at the expense of actual houseless people who could use a hand out. its disproportionately filled with rich white kids who pretend to be poor, no thanks.

Feeling Kayla describing her acute awareness of the beauty and fragility of our existence in this world-- it's like Rutger Hauer's replicant Roy Batty..."I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."

She makes me miss traveling and going to festivals meeting different people and having conversations. I’ve been in such a rut, she’s reminded me I can get up and go do what I want to do. Anyway proud of you Kayla for getting clean!!! Sending you lots of love with tapering off methadone, something tells me you got this. Also what she said about getting off methadone reminded me…if anyone is on maintenance and turning your life around please don’t let others put you down, get inside your head or tell you you’re not clean and try to push you to do something you’re not ready to do!!! The little things….. taking off shoes and socks that are soaking wet and putting on warm, dry socks….. ahhh it’s the best!!!
