We had a neighbor whos dog would bark and get my dog going, he would then come out and blow one of those canned air horns at her. My oldest installed that horn in the truck parked nearest his door... And made sure he saw what was being installed and heard the test blow. LOL

I had a colleague who also did volunteer search and rescue back in the day and had a Karen neighbor as well long before Karen was the term. He had a huge 4x4, in part because he like it, and in part that he could get into the back country for lost hiker's, etc. He had magnetic "Search & Rescue" signs to put on the truck when he was operating in that role. He also had hidden emergency lights, fully lawful when doing search and rescue. The part relevant to this video, is he had an airhorn as well, it was one of the stuttering horns that you will normally hear from a fire engine when they proceed to go through an intersection when running code. It will definitely get your attention when he hit that button. Back to the pre Karen Karen. I don't know the drama that occurred prior to his issues with his neighbor, but every day before he left his house in the morning, he would hit that horn...she would complain, but he would counter that he is on call 24/7 for search and rescue and had to test the equipment each day to make sure it was working properly in case he was mobilized. She called the cops, they all knew him from his SAR work and even if they didn't, there wasn't anything illegal. She finally just stopped and that was that. Still makes me laugh when I think back on it.

I’m 75 too and I live in a decent neighborhood and I’m a car woman. I was a car girl when I was young. I’m a Widow but my husband loved cars and we had racing equipment drag race boats and dragsters. I would fix it so if she walked up to the truck you could push a button and it would go off.

Even back in the late 1970's a person could get an 'electronic' horn that had volume adjustment and various 'horn' sounds. My uncle installed one in his Mustang. The horn played everything from spaceship whirring sounds, to short cop's siren...a big rig horn, a train horn, and various other sounds...I think it even had a Road Runner's beepbeep...raspberry sound, and an old fashioned klaxon (ahooga) horn. Seems like in this day and age they would have similar and much smaller devices that do the same thing...probably even where one could pre-record a message, like "Get off my property, karen!" lol

I did the via air tank and compressor plus added a Hadley 29" air horn under my F250.... relay from an aftermarket up-fitter replay box and switches and tied in parallel with my stock horn so if I have the switch off I only get stock horn. switch on I get both and it is 3/8" air line from 140 psi air tank... Oh yea!

not even close to a Nathan AirChime K5LA Train Horn - 5 horns real train horn. sold mine last year, set you back about $2,500 that thing is $80 with compressor :) loud enough for your needs :) does the job. mine needed a 10gal tank & had a $1,800 compressor was fun though, just $$$$$$$$$$$$$
