Wow, I can see why everybody was freaked out when the fire came through. I was there this year, 2022, and it's big field for the most part up top for Hope Circle. Interestingly, now that it's open, you can see the backside of Crater Lake, and the surrounding mountains, including the radio tower ridge up behind you! Quite impressive either way!

There are so many diesels that they should give at least a 10% discount to operators who run steam there, unless they're in a drought.

no, 2018 was a triennial, so expect to see this much traffic again in 2021.
