To go anywhere from my house I preferred this portion of track. They paralled a remnant of old N&S single lane Hwy. It also gave green lights for drivers providing that you paced. The sound of different Engineer's use, and many units with old horns was fun, and one unit only squeeked or chirped like Europe's, and it did for years.

@@dtunzzlistener American horns are designed as musical instruments, very loud, agreed, but musical. In Europe they are intended to acknowledge the chief's whistle and little else. Indian Railways have adopted many American ideas, and Indian horns are the loudest American horns money can buy.
