Does anyone else listen to videos that suit the ambience / setting of what you’re reading? Like if the characters are in a forest you listen to a forest ambience video, or if they’re on a train, or in a sea side village etc. I love doing it because it really makes me feel immersed in the story

Sounds like a great use for these videos. I've heard from a lot of people that they use them for background noise while they read, especially the spooky halloween videos during the fall. Jack Cutter well yes obviously that happens for everyone when they read (if it’s a well written book). It’s not like I have a ‘bad’ imagination, it’s just to amplify the ambience and increase the feeling of being there 😂 just adds to it really

I love train rides so this is perfect, There is something about that sounds, Back when we used to travel a lot, We had to stay in train for 2-3 days and like just the sound of the train was so relaxing that I would sleep soon after I laid my head down
