Train Roars Down The Street, Welded Rail Cars Train Passes 4 Track RR Crossing, 5 Locomotives Train!

Historic Railroad Town With 4 Track RR Crossing, Train Comes Down Middle Of City Street, New Welded Rail Cars On CSX Train In Sidney, Ohio. Fast Train Goes Under Me, Train Passing Railroad Interchange At Night. Trains In Sidney, Ohio & Trains In Troy, Ohio. Lilly Gets A Goal!
These are CSX freight trains. We go to a railroad crossing in the city with 4 tracks where 2 presidents have ridden by train to give speeches here. A huge train with brand new continuous welded rail ( CWR ) cars passes by and the last car resembles a caboose although it isn't. Check out the plaques.
Then we go to Troy, Ohio to see a train pass through the crowded section of the city with sidewalks on both sides and houses facing the tracks. This train is going through an interesting area that resembles street running. This is a CSX steel slabs train with the first cars loaded and the last cars empty. The train is southbound on the CSX Toledo Sub.
Next, we come back to Sidney to see Lilly score a goal in a tournament game at Sidney High School. I took a look at some historic storm water drains in the city with rock walls that were constructed a good hundred years ago. They resemble the hand dug wells that are on my farm. The overpass behind the school was not built for the Railfan. There is no way to film a train through it with the tiny weaving and being at an angle.
I drove up River Road in Sidney and found a gigantic rock and concrete railroad bridge that goes over the road and over the Great Miami River. It has one track of two remaining. There was no way to film a train going over it without a drone so I drove south 3 miles to a railroad crossing and caught a huge mixed freight. This train had 5 locomotives and the last one was really smoking. This train had to have over 160 cars so count them and let me know what you come up with.
Then, before it got dark, I was able to get a couple more trains. First, we see a train going under me with double stacks. This intermodal train was working pretty good.
After that we see some ancient New York Central line side signals that are still in use. Unfortunately, there are new Safetran signals in place across the tracks that will be in service soon. After zooming in 6X to see the signals from the train station area, we see a CSX auto racks train come around the connecting track to the Toledo Sub. I was a little bummed out that it wasn't going to pass the station. There was just enough light to be able to film it and it got darker while the train passed and the bats were flying around.
Don't forget the outro with the dogs playing and the slide show that comes from the video. I will have one more video from our trip to Sidney and Troy, Ohio. We had soccer games on Saturday and Sunday and it was very hot. The tracks went by the soccer fields but the heavy vegetation made it almost impossible to see the trains. You can see the tops of locomotives and big freight cars but that is about it. 2 CSX lines pass through Sidney and there is a spur with a couple of customers including Cargill. The CSX Toledo sub uses 160.230 and the ex Big Four line uses 160.800.
