Can you imagine the terror of those poor passengers as the screeching of the E-Bake starts up and carries on for, what was it, 1.7 miles? As a regular user of GWR service from Slough I’m really unsure if this is a game or the interactive training simulator for train driver as I’m almost certain that I have been in a slowly moving train while the driver teleports onto it as it moves off from Ealing Broadway.

Look, you can either be on the train, where with any luck he'll be locked out and you'll be protected by the train's doors and bodywork.... or you can be off of the train, in which you'll have to deal with either 1) Mike running amok driving a train around or 2) Mike running amok without a train to keep him contained, and I'm not sure which is less survivable.

No it's not, some games allow you to choose which button to press to move forward, backward, sideways, not at all or completely break the game. Most modern games don't have that choice though.
