Train spotting at Barnetby Station 2/5/2024

A evening at Barnetby Station train spotting. As with the line being down between Scunthorpe and Doncaster passenger trains only ran as far as Scunthorpe. Freight to Scunthorpe ran ok but all other ran the Lincoln line and Brigg line. We filmed the Biomass and Ore trains and got lucky seeing 70009 running the Tank train.

It’s good to see the workings of a different station. The station at which I watch is Broxbourne in Hertfordshire or Ongar in Essex.

Those were mouldy old tankers, weren’t they?!! I wouldn’t wish any liquid to be transported in those!!
