Train That Carried My Girl From Town - Banjo, Fiddle, And Guitar

This is my take on this song. I made it into a more old timey number in this version. I started with guitar and vocals, after that I recorded myself playing banjo and fiddle! I used a martin guitar, a deering banjo, and a yamaha fiddle.

@@Azycz2024 That’s true. I really do respect and love those old Anglo Protestant cultural traditions, but I myself am an Irish Catholic Ellis island descendant! I will meet a lot of Americans who tell me they can trace their ancestry back to the mayflower, and I think that is awesome. My family on my mothers side arrived in the US from Connemara in 1916. They were all native Gaelic speakers. My fathers side came from the county down in ulster, and were Catholic. My mom and dad were from a neighborhood called south Boston. It’s semi famous or infamous here in the states for being an Irish Catholic neighborhood. I love European culture north to south, and East to west! Same with America. If you look hard enough you can always see these pearls of wisdom in any culture. Sometimes the pearls are overlooked and hidden.
