Honestly, I found this to be one of the best zombie movies i've seen. It shows how cruel humans can be by shoving each other into the firey pits of...Zombie mouths...and it shows just how far some people will go to defend those they love dearly. This is a Zombie movie done right.

I have a theory about the infection. What if the first girl took so long to turn because she was infected by an animal? Thus, the infection was mutating and adapting to human DNA. That would explain pretty neatly how she took so long while everyone else took seconds. A bit of a stretch, I know, but dieases have been shown to adapt fairly quickly. 👌 You looked, gimme that like.

The girl that came on the train infected took very long to become a zombie. Probably because she got bitten at the leg. I love how the movie diverted my expectations of the Homeless Man. Throughout the film, he panics, runs for safety, and screams out when the zombies attack. This made me think he would do anything to keep himself alive. But instead, he threw himself at the zombies to buy some time for Su-an (daughter) and Sung-Kyung (pregnant woman) to get out safely. This aspect of his character was actually hinted at earlier in the film when he used his jacket to blind the zombie attacking Seok-Woo (protagonist) in the train station.
