The coolest part of this scene is seeing a hoverboard being used in 1885. Imagine how shocked all the locals would have been when they saw doc and Clara with the hoverboard after they went back into town with it.

And what about even holding the hoverboard, if it repulses gravity? IDK

When marty saw the grave of Doc brown he saw the word beloved by Clara and he wants to know who is Clara so Doc brown should have said Clara is my wife back in the western days

Doc hadn't met Clara when he saw the photo of his gravestone.

@@struttux5156 In the original history she died in the ravine. When Marty went back in time, as we see in the movie, they saved her.

@@struttux5156 Oh weird. You're right. Hmm. Oh wait! I forgot: There are three versions of Clara and the ravine. In the original, she dies; second is when the Delorean is struck by lightning in part 2, and Doc goes back in time: He picks her up at the train station, thus preventing her death--which he was unaware of; the third is when Doc rescues Marty from Tannen's gang in part 3, finds out he and Clara were in a relationship, and chooses to not pick her up at the train.

I am not American, I am Canadian, so we use the Metric System here. I am still aware how fast 88 miles per hours is. It is about 140 Kilometers per hour. Still, I would think a three mile trek along a train track at that speed would not be enough to get the Delorean up that far and that in reality, the car would not have reached 88 before it went over the ravine. I would think about a five mile or eight mile stretch would have been better.

But. The DeLorean is being pushed by a train. And trains take longer to get up to speed unlike a car. Especially trains like this
