I find it rather ironic that the one guy call him an animal. I wouldn't even give this guy that dignity, because to call him an animal to me validates what he's done and animals don't kill just because they can. They kill for very specific reasons such as self-defense and food. Calling him an animal gives him far more respect than he should ever have been given considering what he did

Rachel you’re brave .. I sincerely believe spirits linger, I couldn’t go anywhere near those tracks, I guess this can be said for most of the planet seeing so much hate, genocide has existed in this world, but there’s just something about knowing a location… I saw a story about a young special needs couple from Illinois that ended up on a train in northern Florida, he brutally killed them, it was not mentioned in this episode

I listened to a pretty good podcast about this guy called “Dead Man Talking”. It covered Angel and some confessions he made to a journalist before his execution. He claimed that was responsible for other murders that haven’t been attributed to him and that others have been put in jail for. Dunno if there’s any truth to what he claimed, but he was a monster regardless.

@@honorladone8682 If you're interested in learning more about other people that were similar to Resendiz, then I'd recommend the Mugshots episode about Robert Joseph Silveria Jr. He was also a transient, though not an immigrant, that killed other train riders. He was captured just a few years before Resendiz. The episode also showed the surprisingly diverse and dangerous train-hopping community of the 1990s that Resendiz was a part of, including a group of murderous trainriders that Silveria was in. It's a pretty good watch, if your into that stuff. If not, just tell me to delete the comment.

Cindy Russel I have lived with a day home environment which my wife ran since the early 1980's, and I can honestly say that the behavior of the children in general has gotten worse since then starting in the 90's when belligerent behavior was regarded by parents as strong willed instead of uncooperative and not obeying what the parents say! The children from the '80's were more obedient with good manners, and didn't break or throw toys around! One could clearly see how less time was spent on their children by them sending their children right after our day home for the whole day to various activities after supper, and then right to bed, five days a week! Sadly children know that they have the upper hand since the back of the hand was outlawed by childless experts! Today's society really says it all!

@@agems56 I agree, children today have the run of the parents cause most parents allow it. There's no spending time with children, no communication anymore. I can see it in my granddaughter, put her on a iPad so they don't have to deal with her, but when I have her it's outside doing stuff.

They dont talk about the couple he killed in Florida that hopped the same train that he did. They was young and he killed them because they had a book on black magic. I live in Brewton Alabama but my moms family is from East Texas. My mom was living in West U in Houston Texas just a few hundred yards from the YMCA. She lived in a old run down house green house and the train tracks was only about 50 feet from her house in the back yard. She lived there with my step dad and there 2 sons while me and my older brother from her first marriage lived in Alabama with are dads family. My mom told us about the Railroad killer and i mean the train tracks was are back yard. I was 13 at the time and me and my brothers was playikh in the back yard and i seen this Mexican walking the train tracks. We didnt know what he looked like, 13 years old you really dont watch the news but anyways he targeted Rich people mean people that wasnt poor. We was going to the grocery store one day and we seen this house on the corner taped off, it was a new brick house. We was picking woundering if the Railroad killer did it. We figured it was him and it was. It was Doctors Benton's house the Lady Doctor. I seen him walking the train tracks a few days before he killed her. Looking back i wounder why he didnt mess with us, i guess it was because my mom and step dad was barely getting by or it was becausei seen him during the day or it was because my mom was at home all day with 4 boys.I'll never know but Im blessed by God that he didnt mess with us. This is honestly something I've been thinking about after watching many crime shows. While they are not allways this cut and dry. The dynamic of, if there are extreme punishments such as the death penalty, after some point, shouldn't the criminal just fight to the death? There was another case where 7 convicts escaped from prison. When they escaped they could have killed all of the guards but they didnt do it. One of the prisoners tried to rape one of the female nurses but the other escapees stopped him. When they stole vehicles and and broke into peoples houses because they didnt have money and obviously couldnt get a job they didnt hurt anyone, even a teenage girl. Eventually they were all captured and put to death. While sevral of them have committed murders in the past, they would have done better just killing everyone who they came into contact with because thats how some of them were caught. One guy in particular robbed a store because he ran out of gas, but he just left, after he did the woman called the police. Of course I dont condone the actions of criminals but when you think about it whats in it for the criminals to play nice once they have passed a certain point. I dont think I have ever heard anyone explore this idea.
