Sorry for your loss, I too lost my husband much too soo. 4.5.76-6.16.14 ... my time with him over 9 years were the best of my life. He was my strength. My hope. My live. My life. My best friend and soulmate. Words can't describe the desparity after the loss of your chosen partner. May they rest in peace and wait at the gates of heaven to greet us.

M. Szarzanowicz I am so sorry for your loss as well. Thank you for your beautiful words that echo my feelings so closely. I knew for a short 10 years but he was my life. He completed me heart and soul. Tomorrow is our anniversary and one of the most difficult days to get through. Thankfully I have so many wonderful memories which is a double edge sword mixing the pain of loss with the amazing love we had.
@m.szarzanowicz97319 жыл бұрын
J Dunwoody may you find peace today in the love that was special between you. Our anniversary this year was my first without him, I went to the same place we went traditionally and had good support since it was so close to his passing. Though it was difficult i found ways to memorialize. so fittingly married on 8.8.08 to simbolize eternity together. Life together was to short. I constantly feel I need more time with him. Life together wasn't long enough. I need eternity. He was a special soul, I'm sure yours was too. I find as time passes the grief becomes a solitary pain that we must deal with from within. I find myself looking for distractions to lighten the pain, but it's constantly lingering. I hope today, you take moments to yourself, and do something just for you, something he would have done for you on this special day.

I saw them on the side stage at a festival before Meet Virginia was getting much air play. I was so very fortunate to meet Dave when I had just turned eighteen. I had him until I was forty. He went from a six foot tall, two hundred pound beautiful piece of man to an eighty pound skin on bones person that my five foot tall self could have carried around the house. When we got the final decree, he would be gone, all he worried about was me. Every time I walked out of the room I would hear him ask, "What is Bev going to do?". He died at the age of 44 with me on one side of the pillow and our daughter on the other. My Mom and other family members were there. This song is my love for him. And, his for me.

Each and every one of your songs move me in different ways. This one makes me stop whatever I am doing and remember wonderful times with my daddy. I miss him so much, but I do feel him here with me. Please keep making this music that only you all can make. Your poetic, eclectic lyrics always draw me in and make me feel better instantly. I can be in a really great mood and you all make it even better. You remind me of the fun in music, the passion, the emotion, the ups & downs and so much more. Thank you all!!

I miss my husband so much and this makes me think of it strongly. I stumbled on this. My husband died of cancer. We are branches of the same tree and I miss him all the time...all of it. I turn to his kind nature and our friendship in my mind in hard times and get a soft answer. He's here but he's not.

Love, love this song. I've lost too many family members before their time. This song reminds me they're not lost to me. They're just on the other side of the veil and I will see them again soon.

Patrick I love the lyrics to this song. I myself look to the sky it's beautiful and I find that inner peace within in to think, pray or just say what a work of art from our Heavenly Father. I watched you in an interview, now I understand why you looked so sad I want you to know I understand the loss of a parent my dad passed away and I was really hurting inside because I never got to say goodbye to him. You never get over the loss but you do learn how to cope with it. You strike me as the kind of person who would go out of your way to comfort another even in your time of grief. You're Amazing. I am sorry that you had to say goodbye to the most important woman and friend in your life. Your Mother is apart of you, she'll always be with you😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
