The appeal and mechanics of this are much better than Rolling Line. The jobs teach while paying out. Makes for a better watch!

32 minutes in and I'm trying to guess whether he's going to see the "Search" box at the top left for finding all the different parts or whether it doesn't work the way I think it does :D

Deliberately scrolling so you can see the shop. Search works fine.

Interesting idea for a game. If it has a Steam workshop with easy modding, the sandbox mode may become quite interesting indeed. I noticed under the as yet unclickable camera icon 5:30 was a train controller icon, so I suspect full control is a thing for later...

Symmetrical Turnout, also known as a Y Junction which is much easier to recognise, identify and remember what is is.
@huccabybrown8547Ай бұрын
I think I see'd a search bar top left of the shop screen. Not be be a back seat driver, because on a train the back seat probably doesn't see where we're going, so would be a challenge.
@colonelfailureАй бұрын
There is indeed, and it works. For the video I chose to whip through so you got a feel for how much stuff was in each tab.

I've just started building a real life n gauge model layout and if only it was as easy as this game makes it look. Trust me its far harder to get this kind of result in five minutes!

From the look of how you play the game, the word boring comes to mind. You correctly described the painting as busy work - I've seen paint by numbers that was harder to do. As for the washing station, meh. Is it even possible to fail at any of these tasks? And then there is the building of the diorama. Did someone say hand-holding? They show you exactly where to place every piece which then snaps to its location. When it comes to actually building a layout, each and every piece has its predefined location. Where is the challenge? the imagination?

Some of the e-mails are quite awkward. I definitely like this already over Rolling Line interface-like and probably will get it. And this is probably good that it reminds you of Car Mechanic Simulator; I think it's the same publisher (PlayWay). And the outro was great.

'Didn't we have a lovely day - the day we went to Letchworth ..' Arsk for the Road Map, don't go after looking for flutterbys at Chrimbo, and remember - the body's buried in the cellar near the disused covert over empty well, where all the groans and sighs and rattles and chilly shivers come up from (in the dark, at night, in the dark .. alone). Yey! ;o)

You don't put all long rails and then a bunch of small rails, you go long + small + long + small, to avoid creating lots of connections in one are that is under pressure.

I know Playway S.A. is the publisher on this, but I'm pretty sure they own or are affiliated with the devs too. I'm surprised you are NOT working as a hobby shop owner. Their games are simple enough but fun to play.

This is a very interesting idea for a game tho I doubt it is for me.... I do enjoy more of the track and stop/city building like Railroad Online, and also the rail company management like Railroader... I do like how you can order bits from online catalog, tho all the task/jobs they ask you to do kinda turns me off of this game...

"If you buy the premise, you buy the bit." The magical world where you can make money building model trains in your home! Will be interesting to see how fiddly it will be to make your own free-form layout to get the track to work. DO love the many paint channels! Kinda meh about the place hundreds of items in the diorama--which yay--you do NOT have to do!
