Fine tuning the Table of Contents (TOC) alignment

hi, i dont quite understand that we have to set up 2 x Tabs for each TOC. what does it really mean

If you are happy have a full-width table of contents (i.e. 1 column) then you don't need to worry about the tabs. If you want the 2-column format for your table of contents as shown in the video, then the tab markers tell Word the position in which to display the page numbers. In the example given, I positioned the page numbers in column 1 at 8cm and the page numbers in column 2 at 17cm.

my page numbers in the TOC 2 have now moved to the left and are no longer aligned with the page numbers on the right with everything else.

Modify the TOC2 style and make sure you have your tab stops set correctly.
