Thank you! I'm a sports massage therapist and I tell clients to roll as a priority over stretching. Also, regarding the IT band, check your adductors. I work the inner thighs and the IT band releases almost immediately

I foam roll for ITB but yoga 🧘♀️ because I do not live on the Bike, it creates flex ability and muscle / core strength that only adds to cycling and life. Foam rolling you see more instant results but things like stretching a yoga take more more time and have more overall benefits.

Did yoga for a couple years and I found it did absolutely nothing for my cycling. If anything, I lost fitness due to giving time to yoga that should have been on the bike

I’m curious about vibration foam rollers, good, bad, what are your thoughts?

The bit about activating underused muscles sounds very interesting, can you point to some exercises specific for muscles used in cycling?

so what do you'll think about grounding? i've heard a lot of "internet stuff" related to how grounding can help decrease inflammation in body facia, improving ones ability to recover from physical activity. great work, love hearing how different things help and hinder different riders. happy new year, can't wait for my 2020 riding season to start(missing warmer weather).

Hi, can you arrange a session about warm-up ride before e.g. a 2hr high intensity ride/race? Is it to simplistic to think that riding 10-15min in zone 2-3 HR would be adequate? Thanks.

The more Chad talks the more Nate dies of boredom. He tries to survive this at 5:19 but Chad recognises the weakness and quickly counter attacks with a further breakdown of current literature to deliver a killing blow.

@@natepearson5317 Nate the Gazelle does not have the option to be tired when in the serengeti, you must be on full systems go when in the presence of the Chadinator 5000

There is science to show that stretching prior to your event can reduce you power output

Base on Chad’s comment, I’m going to start foam rolling before rolling in bed.
