I always travel with my tablet and use it as the backing when pinning my numbers. And pins... i have a bagful but when race organizers have them available it is like winning a lottery. I put a magnet in the bag so the pins are nicely bunched together

You can't buy them at the moment and I don't think they are going to sell them in the near future. They said in a podcast that is would be too much extra effort for their company while working on the apps and also getting them made by Coure (The brand that TR uses).

Why can't jersey mgfrs sew on something like UPS or FEDex uses for shipping labels for packages? Then all you need to do is stuff that in the pouch.

Check out NoPinz. They do that! You can even send them a suit and they will sew on a pouch.

Will using the spray adhesive damage the jersey and leave any residue after peeling off the number?

It can leave residue on the jersey, but as long as you spray a conservative amount of adhesive on the number and give it enough time to bond before applying it to the jersey (at least 20 seconds), then you'll minimize residue transfer.

The adhesive isn't so strong as to make the number difficult to remove by hand, so you shouldn't have any problems as long as you follow the application process in the video. :)
