What a sweet boy I’ve always wanted an Austrian Shepard! I wouldn’t mind having a deaf doggy.. like she said he doesn’t even know he’s deaf.. it’s all he’s ever known. I do think more needs to be done to avoid bad breeding that leads to double Merle.

My aunt just had an accidental double Merle litter. Could’ve been avoided if she kept Ava away from boys while she was in heat but somehow she got out while there were visitors

i think the purpose was to spread awareness. a lot of double merle’s are put down for being only deaf, only blind, and sometimes both. she’s proving that they are worth life, despite their disabilities. she is not saying breed double m… lol!!
