I will say this, training arms and legs on the same day is strange, but it does leave a whole two days for push day and pull day. I recently started doing this and I am enjoying it so far.

It works great for upper and lower days to take some load off the upper days and balances things overall. Also can get a better workout for the arms, shoulders, back and chest as well so wins all around.

Here's the split that I made that I will try next week: Monday: Chest/Core Tuesday: Legs/Arms Wednesday: Back/Core Thursday: Legs/Arms Friday: Chest/Back Very weird but my goal is to hit the muscles two times a week while keeping it short. I'm only using dumbbells, ez curl bar, pull up bar and a bench anyway but soon I'll get a pair of dip bars. I'd love to know your opinion on this.

Tendinitis comes on with regular poor blood flow. That is why exercises which improve blood flow instantly make it feel better. Most athletes are eating for decreased blood flow and get all kinds of aches which get worse by the year. Few athletes get enough soft tissue manipulation to work out all their tightness and allow blood flow as well. If you're not spending as much or more time with a physio (or yourself) as you do training you will start to acquire injuries. An elite athlete spends more just on recovery tools than the average man earns a week. They still don't eat for blood flow though. Poor blood flow will come from diet, tight tissue, pooling up of fluids (from inflammation caused by diet and training), mechanical restrictions (for example if your shoes or underwear is too tight). Herniated disks come from the same causes. Change life style to slowly get rid of the tendinitis and add way more recovery work, more soft tissue work, eat for blood flow and reversing cardiovascular disease/diabetes cause that will directly allow the blood to flow properly again like when you were a baby.
