Man it just hit me today how long I've been following you, Brian Alsruhe, Alan Thrall and others and the impact you've all had on me as a coach and in my own training. Its amazing to see everyone life journeys and where they are now thanks to this lil youtube community.

A cambered swiss bar is also good for bench pressing when working around shoulder issues. Something about the neutral grip is just better. Great video!

Congrats on everything. Just remember when times get tough as a dad, and they will, that it will all be ok. I have 3 and can totally relate.

Loving the content! Excited for the big things happening in your life. What cable machine do you have? I’m looking for a budget option or even build my own.

Really enjoyed this video! Love the insight into training that this style of video provides. I might nab the style of having video overlays while talking for my own channel hahah
@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
thank you! I try to keep it casual and like you guys are there with me while delivering information and my thought process on things.
@TobyLifelyАй бұрын
@@SzatStrength It really works - you convey the info in a very digestable way

Since you became "enhanced" do you find injuries are happening more frequently or staying basically the same as before? Thank you for your openness and straight forward videos.
@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
same, most of my injuries have been weird freak things I didn't see coming, or in hindsight were caused by me being in weird positions or movement patterns I wasn't used to. I try to be very smart with my programming and recovery the older I get. Now I tell myself "there is always tomorrow" So I tend to hold back slightly so I can train another day healthy!

Is there any PPL programs out there that you recommend? My goal I would have to say is 60% strength and 40% hypertrophy. My issue is my genetics suck. I constantly have to push the volume and weight, or else i lose it FAST. I've been at it 20ish years. Im 6'0 225 and to stay at this weight i have to push it constantly. Im just looking for something to change it up

I have some on the app website I think you would enjoy, otherwise I'm sure the top recommended coaches have some solid ones that you can find to fit your goals. Would love to help you out if you need a program or coaching, just shoot me an email and we can see where things go!

Just saw some german KZbinrs claim natty while benching 250kg 551lbs on a very average bodyweight frame... I'm thankful for honest people like you!
@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
honesty is the best policy, I don't condone it... and I'll talk about it with people mature enough to have the conversations but I don't deny it that's for sure.

@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
working on the video now! I think it will be more in depth than most people want / equally not that interesting if that makes sense (i eat like a robot) however, I'll lay some frame work for you guys to use for yourself which I think will be vert helpful if you watch the whole video.

What’s your thoughts on 5x5 and 3x5s for size and strength and cycling through those?
@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
I love 5's 3's 1's for compounds in wave fashions along with proper accessories for a nice blend (when goals are to be well rounded)

Do you hit upper body once or twice a week?
@SzatStrengthАй бұрын
2x / week at the moment. Legs has been very minimal due to quad tendonitis and wanting to grow my upper body more so focusing on that lately.
