The weights are too tall. You are missing out on the lowering part that impacts better. Just a thought.

I am overloading the 'lockout' or top half of the deadlift. I do that purposefully, because the top is my weaker half. The lowering part, the eccentric, is an effective stimulus for hypertrophy, however, I am training for increases on my 1RM, and focusing on my sticking point. I will switch to full ROM when I get closer to my next competition. Thanks for watching

Check out the other video I put in this reply for one of my push up videos. I am focusing on heavy weights to compete either in strongman or deadlift only powerlifting. My cardio of choice is my indoor bike. How can you tell my heavy weights are messing up my cardio?
