I feel this completely. Good to see you again, but family should always come first. I had to step away from running and youtube plans after having my second boy. He's 3 years old now, and I finally have my head above water, so I know that feeling of having a renewed passion for this crazy hobby. You've been through an even bigger challenge and I really respect the vulnerability you're able to show on this channel. From another Indiana ultra addict, I'm rooting for you and will be following along the journey.

Welcome to AZ. Monster is an amazing course! Even now with the modifications we’ll still have a great time, I’m coming back this year for hopefully three finishes in a row. That’s how much I like this race. Be ready for gnarly storms, that’s been consistent over the years. The year before last we were getting pelted by hail as I was going down to fish hatchery, completely exposed with the trail turning into a river and lightning all around! Good times!! Hope to see you out there, good luck!!!

It was great seeing a new video. Sorry to hear about the difficult issues you have been working through. I am really happy to hear that you have good support in your church family and you find strength in your faith. You have been an inspiration to me - and may others, I'm sure. I look forward to following your progress

Best of luck at the Monster! I loved that race and definitely want to do it again. It took me far longer than my ultrapacer plan, but I got it done, which was the main thing. AZ is an amazing state to run in IMHO and Aravaipa does a great job with their races. I think you'll be hooked. I appreciate your vulnerability in sharing a bit of your life on here. You've always kept it real which is nice. I wish you much love and healing as well as a great race this weekend!

Good luck at Mogollon! I definitely found the long spaces between aid stations to be the hardest part. That and the heat but looks like the temps will be amazing this year.

Ryan, I was talking to the Speedland rep at Leadville and he said that the sock liner lip is made to be cut out of you need a wider fit. I haven’t seen any other info about it online, but might be worth exploring if you’re getting friction from that insole? Good luck at your race!!!

FYI course changes. One less climb of the rim. Should be a bit faster but that last 20 miles on high line will be slow going. Good luck!

Praying for you, brother. Divorce is a horrible death of a covenant of marriage, a grievous blow to a family, and an affront to God. I have seen it in my family and only by the grace of God am I still with my wife and daughters now after being exclusively coupled to my wife since 2006 and married since 2012. I know how deep and dark it can get. Christ is the Lord of all and we must trust and rely upon Him on the hills and valleys of life. ❤
