@@STR8_SAVAGEturf doesn’t have the give/bend that grass does. Using fg on artificial grass turd is extremely hard on your joints, tendons, and muscles. Too much traction. Specifically why AG studs/soleplates exist to the degree they do now. people used to believe that fg studs on AG was no different, but as years have gone by the science has clearly indicated that AG needs less aggressive traction on studs. ALSO, there are different types of turf. fg on artificial grass turf is still bad, but using fg on something like a more old school “carpet turf” is a fricking disaster waiting to happen. example: 90’s NFL turf and the bajillion injuries it was causing.

I think if you're training for a match you should wear the same shoe that you're going to wear. The number of opportunities you get in a game with the ball is much less than in a training session, so the last thing you need is for your shot or pass to be off because your boots feel different. I've only tried 2 turf shoes (the Puma King pro TT and Morelia Elite TF) and my shots are completely off when compared to AG/FG boots

Been wearing a pair of these for a few weeks now for my weekly 7 a side game on 3g turf and agree with SR4U, they're fantastic, really comfortable and great feel/touch! I'm going to disagree about the sizing though. I usually wear a UK size 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe and for these I had to go down to a UK 8 as the 8.5 were massive. The 8s were snug to begin with but eventually stretched and are now a perfect fit

I love this shoe, and will always wear it, buuuuuuuuuuuut it has just 1 flaw: the raised heel and midfoot. To do stepovers, or other very hard changes of direction, they easily slip, could cause injuries in dynamic players. Again, love my pair, but they are not perfect because of that only flaw

I cannot understate this: I NEVER wear turfs on AG fields because I slip. However, the mundials have the most aggressive turf traction I've ever used and I can play on AG fields with them. I typically wear a 12.5 in leather cleats but I went half a size down and they've broken in just fine.
@flakers13373 ай бұрын
tons of people wear those here, especially in the big cities where the AG pitches are old and worn down, you see many players in mundial teams. interesting to see they run true to size just like the world cups
@ronanfinlay-yl6xy14 күн бұрын
I wore these boots for the first time last night. I was super excited to try them out. I bought my true size, which had way too much room, I was slipping everywhere. They also have this weird insole insert which is super high only on the heel, almost like a high heel, which creates this uneven surface inside the boot. The lateral movements are so unsafe and dangerous I almost broke my ankle and nearly did my knee in at the same time. I'm returning these asap. Otherwise, they are super comfortable and have super grip on the indoor field
@khamluong80713 ай бұрын
The fact that your first pair has lasted over a decade is testament to its design
@khelgarironfist33013 ай бұрын
I don't like their lateral stability personally. Feels easy to sprain your ankles because they have a higher and very rigid heel somehow. Adore the thick leather upper though.
@gmolina3 ай бұрын
I agree with you... I feel completely disconnected when I wear them and the high heel feels like an accident waiting to happen. I wish this type of aggressive turf sole was available in a different design. Something more modern and lower to the ground.

@blackknightstv56313 ай бұрын
If you train in these, or similar turf boots, vs guys in FG boots, as I do on hard natural turn fields in Asia, then you're gonna be at a significant disadvantage in terms of traction that will translate in straight line speed, certainly over short distances as well as change of direction and even shooting and long range passing as your standing foot doesn't have the same traction. This sounds a major negative, yet if you can compete vs your peers with this disadvantage then when you go to your 'match day boots' you'll notice the difference. You've effectively been putting yourself through a tougher workout and have had to find ways to find space and react to the speed of the game without relying on your athleticism.

@Soccerreviewsforyou3 ай бұрын
Used football boots, especially leather ones, typically aren’t the best idea. Especially a pair like this, where they could literally be 15 years old. Not saying you couldn’t have a bad experience with these, but if everything is peeling and they’re falling apart, that suggests that the pair you had was pretty old.

@@Soccerreviewsforyou honoured to have a reply from the man himself But these seemed like they were pretty new - only worn a couple of times by the previous owner (barely broken in, maybe why they gave me blisters). @CognizantCheddar3 ай бұрын
The outsole relies wholly on glue. It will always start to disintegrate after a few years, especially if the boots get wet, especially especially if they aren't stored in a dry, cool place. Don't ever buy them used -- if you buy them used, you don't know how they've been stored. Visual appearance is irrelevant, a boot with disintegrating glue can look literally pristine, then you put it on to play and the sole literally falls off within 10 minutes.

Great trainers Sadly...and I speak for Barbados🇧🇧 and most Caribbean pitches- we play on natural turf that is either firm or soft according to rainy or sunny days... The killer downside is- most fields are marked with old ICE automobile oil, which deteriorates the rubber soles of the Copa Mundial and destroys the foam midsoles of the Mundial Team. I own a pair of the black and white reverse colour scheme- both Teams trainers have the white foam midsole🙄
