Thank you so much! It's been one of those years, but I'll be back. Thanks for the support!

Best of luck with the recovery. It's a good job you had those poles with you.

Thanks Mark, I have a feeling this recover may take some time (it's not as if I've been injured most of the year already!). Thanks for the support

I know! I love Autumn as well! Gutted, but I'm slowly accepting it and adjusting my goals. I'll be back!

Bad luck with the break. From that stile I think I’d have gone down the hill to the farm. I bet you were glad to have the poles with you!
@CotswoldTrailRunnerАй бұрын
If I hadn't already climbed over the stile, I'd have been down there as well! The poles definitely saved me! Thanks for watching.

Bad luck! I've had avulsion fractures on both ankles, so I can fully sympathize with what you're going through. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope to see you back out on the trails asap

Thank you for watching. I can't imagine both ankles! Hope you're ok now? How long did your rehab take? I'm hopefully my fracture was on the smaller side...
@lynneevans-zg4htАй бұрын
@@CotswoldTrailRunner both ankles absolutely fine now thanks, you should heal no problem, and the fact that you are already out walking on it is very positive, and the rehab is definitely very important to do consistently. I did one MTBing and one trail running about 18 months apart. My fractures were both more severe than yours and I was back out after about two months for both so you should heal faster than that I reckon 👍🏻 good luck!
@CotswoldTrailRunnerАй бұрын
Thanks! That fills me with positivity! 😀 I am becoming very aware that consistent rehab is the key and allowing for rest, recovery and sometimes setback is the answer to continuing my running for many more years! Thanks for the advice

@@CotswoldTrailRunner a positive attitude and consistent rehab is more than half the battle! You'll be back out in no time 👍🏻

Which baby pouches do you use? Might give that a try 🤔

Highly recommend! I use Ellas kitchen, usually the fruit ones, like strawberry and apple or banana. I normally look at which gives the most calories. It's a nice change to gels, but also feels like you've had something. The most I've ever carried is 4, they're quite big!

I'm going to give these a try definitely 👍... Speedy recovery mate 🦾
