Topics with time 1:03:00 : collecting Seeds and processing,Testing,Seed Germination 1:18:00 : Transplantation process,Host plant,Nutrition mgmt (for every 15days),Pruning at 30days interval 1:35:17 : Plantation Technology (Land preparation,choice of hosts,Spacing,watering,Manuring,Weeding,Diseases,Sun light mgmt) A)Level the land with slope B)Do summer plough C)Quality of seedling(above 1ft,1/3rd of stem in brown color) D)Season of planting (just before monsoon, Evening is good E)PIT size 45x45x45 cm F)After pitting, left for 1month for weathering G)Day before planting,water the seedling thoroughly (don’t hold plants but hold containers) H)At time of planting 5kg of FYM applied in pit I)Separate Top soil and Bottom soil.While plantation,pour top soil at base J)Secondary host(Mango,Curry leaf,etc). Tertiary/Perm.Host(Neem,Teak,etc) K)Ideal Spacing of Primary Host plant : 1 to 1.5 feet from sandalwood. Intermediate Host: 2.5 to 3ft from sandalwood Row to Row 8-12ft (depends on Nature of Agri/horti crops) Water shld not log L)Growth of hosts shld not exceed Sandal M)Grow Crotalaria spp. Around sandal for addl. Nutrients 2:06:00 : Pruning (at winter) 2:50:30 :Diseases in sandalwood and Management 4:03:40 : Plantation Technology and Economics (1yr expenses Rs.34k/ha excluding fencing and Drip)

Kindly upload more videos in Hindi and English on regular basis because north Indian farmers don't understand Tamil and kannad language and maximum videos on KZbin regarding sandalwood farming are in these languages. Thanks Sir for uploading the video in Hindi language. Definitely this programme will be beneficial for farmers.
