I had a wrestling coach in highschool, who coached quality wrestlers and had sons who held state records, and he never wrestled as a competitor. He had this ability to extract wisdom and knowledge and to disseminate it in an impactful and meaningful way.

This is such great content. It blows my mind that it doesn’t have 200k views. Keep up the great work. Fantastic guest.

That was such an amazing conversation! As a middle-aged boxer who also enjoys lifting, the question of carry-over hit home. I mean, we often hear the neverending debates about whether X lift will help Y lift (the OHP will help your bench a) NEVER b)GUARANTEED! 🤷‍♂️), but how will lifts translate to the bottom-line of a given sport's performance is another level. From a coaching standpoint, I also really loved the talks on athlete buy-in...you got superstars who just crushed it on the field and who want to get that shower and meal in and they look at you like "bruh, f@ck your single-leg squats and recovery workout" 😅 - those Table Talks are invaluable!

Maserati with a Honda Civic Engine is the best description of that body type trying to do those lifts I've ever heard. That's so simple, I dig it.

Knowledge is power. Experience is power. Need to put them both together for optimal outcome. Consistently, over time.
