You don't realize how good this guy is by just watching him on TV. When you put him up against average or even above average tennis players you really see how he has mastered the sport, and he seems almost immortal.

Roger has basically achieved Jedi level mastery of the game. He sees how each sequence will play out before it happens and his racquet is just an extension of his hand. Amazing.

I would really like to see a video where you or Alex talk about the strategy of a pro player during points. For me Federer is the GOAT, so for instance, I want to see a breakdown of his tactics during a rally, say for his top 10 best points. By breakdown of strategy I mean talking about his ball placement, shot selection, why slice or topspin or flat shot, why he went for a body serve at 0-40 up or why serve & volley, etc.

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Some tips on how to reliably generate topspin from a 2h backhand would be great! For me there's a huge difference between my forehand and backhand which is always pretty flat and it ends up being a weakness that gets exploited in matches. Absolutely love the channel, you guys provide loads of high quality content so thanks a lot for that!

If you ever get the chance to watch Roger in person and want to be truly amazed, just watch him return missed balls back to the ball kids. The best is on first serves he misses in which the opponent still hits the return back near him. Roger will do the most nonchalant wrist-flick little tap from some ridiculous backwards and behind-the-back position and the ball will practically land in the ball kid's lap every single time. The level of touch and feel Roger has with a racquet and ball is completely unfair.

I've been trying to do that since 2011 when I started this channel. Never got close. The top guys are very intelligent with their training and rarely give insights into what they're doing. After all, it's their training routines that make them that good, if everyone knew, everyone could follow and get pretty good too!

But even though he's so sensitive and human, I don't think he gets to do things that most humans do. I don't think he can walk down the street or go anywhere without being stopped by crazy admirers.
