Ok guys, so I calculated his 11,2s for 100m claim. There is a video of Eddie running the 40 yards (36m). The world record in the 40 yards is 4,2s. Multiply that by 2,777 (because 100 divided by 36 is 2,777) and you get 11,6s. Now of course, you can not extrapolate like that, because in 100m the athlete only has to accelerate once, and not 2,777 times, so let's assume, that the person who did the 4,2s in the 40 yards is capable of running just as fast as Usain Bolt in the 100m dash, which is a generous assumptiom. Usain Bolts world record is 9,58s. So that means, that when you multiply the 40 yards (36m) by 2,77 to get 100m, you have to subtract roughly 2 seconds, to get a quite accurate extrapolation. So where does that leave us? Eddie ran the 40 yards in 5,72 seconds (there is video proof of that). Multiply that by 2,777 and you get 15,88. Subtract 2 seconds and you get 13,88s. So Eddies 100m time should be more around 13,88s. Even if the number is not 100% accurate, there is NO WAY that it is that far off, that Eddie runs a full 2,68 seconds faster than my calculation, which, if you remember, is already quite generous. I don't want to doubt Eddie or say bad things about him and I would really like him to prove me wrong, that would actually make me happy. But until I don't see a video of him running 100m in 11,2s, I don't believe it.

@RPhaF3 ай бұрын
@@Jacob234-nh2cv I don't think you realise how fast 11.3 is... Lot of top athletes in explosive sports who weight twice less than Eddie don't go below 12sec. Even Isiah Rivera who has the highest vertical recorded (vertical jump requires a lot of fast twitch) doesn't go below 12.... If Eddie could run a 11.3 100m at his weight it would mean that if he decided to go down to 200 pounds and learn proper running techniques, he would have the potential to set a world record... If it's on a video it probably means the track wasn't 100m.

07:35 Are they proper reps if you’re not extending your arms up on the lift? Not being critical, just want to know. I’ve started going the gym recently and maybe I’m doing too much or just wrong technique

@@MrMeMyselfandI He may have run from point A to point B in 11.3 seconds, but it was not 100m. Eddie Hall is not almost as fast as a professional wide receiver.
