Ok guys, so I calculated his 11,2s for 100m claim. There is a video of Eddie running the 40 yards (36m). The world record in the 40 yards is 4,2s. Multiply that by 2,777 (because 100 divided by 36 is 2,777) and you get 11,6s. Now of course, you can not extrapolate like that, because in 100m the athlete only has to accelerate once, and not 2,777 times, so let's assume, that the person who did the 4,2s in the 40 yards is capable of running just as fast as Usain Bolt in the 100m dash, which is a generous assumptiom. Usain Bolts world record is 9,58s. So that means, that when you multiply the 40 yards (36m) by 2,77 to get 100m, you have to subtract roughly 2 seconds, to get a quite accurate extrapolation. So where does that leave us? Eddie ran the 40 yards in 5,72 seconds (there is video proof of that). Multiply that by 2,777 and you get 15,88. Subtract 2 seconds and you get 13,88s. So Eddies 100m time should be more around 13,88s. Even if the number is not 100% accurate, there is NO WAY that it is that far off, that Eddie runs a full 2,68 seconds faster than my calculation, which, if you remember, is already quite generous. I don't want to doubt Eddie or say bad things about him and I would really like him to prove me wrong, that would actually make me happy. But until I don't see a video of him running 100m in 11,2s, I don't believe it.

8:30 BROO!!! I didn't expect that!!! That's awesome!!!! 15:00 The biggest weight at the gym I go to is 120 pound dumbbells. Never seen anyone shoulder-pressing them ! The ones he's using are about 176 pound dumbbells!! Those are HEAVY!! He was basically shoulder-pressing two grown men over his shoulders repeatedly!! What a beast! 23:44 this is crazy. I can't even do 1 clean rep with that weight. Maybe when I grow up. I'm 49 now

It is definitely a reality check to tell a younger person that he is producing a ton of growth hormone, and he will never get it again, knowing that that stage in your life has come and gone. That is the cold, hard truth you are telling him, Eddie. That is also why you are the best. Between you and Brian I wouldn't want advice from anyone else. Keep it up! Hope to catch you if you're anywhere around Indiana, US in the future.

As a former Scottish champion (athlete) there’s 0 chance of that 11.3 being true.. as much as i love eddie, that’s definitely a wind up .. if u watch the NFL video he did a year ago where he tried out, he did 40 yards (36.5) metres in 5.7 seconds .. that means he would need to run the other (63) metres in 5.6 seconds 😅.. impossible.. duplantis (world record holder in the pole vault ran 100m 12 days ago and clocked 10.37.. no way you would be 0.93 behind him 😅

its on video. as a strongman, hell have alot of fast twitch muscle fibres in his legs and core, which is why. also a lot of running with heavy weight is done in strongman, whichll also have increased his speed
@RPhaF
@RPhaF 3 ай бұрын
@@Jacob234-nh2cv I don't think you realise how fast 11.3 is... Lot of top athletes in explosive sports who weight twice less than Eddie don't go below 12sec. Even Isiah Rivera who has the highest vertical recorded (vertical jump requires a lot of fast twitch) doesn't go below 12.... If Eddie could run a 11.3 100m at his weight it would mean that if he decided to go down to 200 pounds and learn proper running techniques, he would have the potential to set a world record... If it's on a video it probably means the track wasn't 100m.
