Man I liked the look and sound of these buses, it is sad they aren't around today. Back then as I kid I enjoyed the bus rides and the sounds. Nowadays if I am one of the current busses I will likely have my earpods on.

0:23 Wow! I didn't know SEPTA used to have New Flyer trolleybuses back in the day! I assumed they started off with Neoplan ones and their first New Flyers were low floors, since I don't see too many videos of these on SEPTA! They look exactly like Boston's too! Nice video. You got a new sub from me!

The trolley coaches are actually AM General units, built at the same time as the AM Generals that used to run in Seattle. The only two examples of AM General units built... and now none of them survive, either here or in Seattle.
@blue9multimediagroup3 жыл бұрын
AM General built the design under license from New Flyer (at the time known as Flyer Industries) as its own Model 10240TC Metropolitan. Easiest way to tell them apart is the lack of a hump over the rear window which the Flyer E800 had.

I always wanted to ride 8435-8561 on the 5 from Bridge and Pratt to 3rd and Oregon in South Philadelphia but that will never happen. I miss the old 5 so much and 8435-8561 made the run fun.
