Trains at Barrow in Furness Cumbrian Coast Line + Furness Line 17/2/17

In this Video today I visited Barrow in Furness on the on the start of Both the Furness line and the Cumbrian Coast line
Surprizingly this station had a lot to see including 2 Class 37 which where a beautiful sight to see and also the Station was very nice as it had a old atmosphere to it but it was a enjoyable visit
My next station is Gloucester on the GVL

I took the loco hauled service from Carlisle to Lancaster. 4 hours of 37 thrash, now that's what I call a day well spent.

If Thomas & Friends was real, this would be the eastern terminus of the mainline of the North Western Railway. Here, Gordon's express would be handed off to another locomotive (probably a DRS Class 57 in this day and age).

Nowadays the DRS locos would have taken over on Sodor especially on the through goods trains. I've dieselised Sodor but didn't Sprinterise it🙂apart from the Class 151s on the Norramby branch.

Good one James only one thing better than a 37 is two 37s do they run every day ? I have seen pass Bolton-Le-Sands on the railcam quite a few times will check out your Gloucester video when posted.
