Hi Kieran kingmore mpd Carlisle is a great station on the west coast main line the wcml is right up my street mate I have been at Carlisle Manley time in the 1980s/2000s but there where no class 86s locos on that day? the stranraer line is great line in south west Scotland I have been on it Manley times when it had boat trains to London euston and Glasgow central unit 2015 unti stena line ferry service was move to a new port at cairnyan and rail passengers have a 50 mile bus ride to Ayr railway station i live in N.lreland and still use the ferry service to Scotland to this day but I do miss the train ride from stranraer harhour to carlisle I also model the stranraer line in oo set in the 1980s with the BR sealink carferry the Galloway princess at stranraer harhour station with CLASS 47 deisel elce locos on London euston trains and class 37/47 locos on the Glasgow central trains goobye for now Kieran clive
