How Derby has changed but good to see more work is underway..Film well put together even though cross country were the dominant classes. Despite this, once again the voiceover is what kept my attention.

I live in Northampton and have never seen an XC train come through. You brain obviously had a glitch for a split second.

Nice background history of Derby (Midland); as I remarked about Manchester (Victoria), it’s another station, this time not so vastly changed from what I knew in the 1960s. The old track work seemed to cope with all the passenger, freight and constant light engine workings, but having the Chaddesden approach certainly helped.
