I might go to South Kenton next time as there is quite a lot of high speed trains thundering through.

I went to school near there and did a lot of my early trainspotting from the footbridge at South Kenton Station before going home for tea. Footbridge? What footbridge?? I hear you say! Well, there was a footbridge in my schoolboy trainspotting days. It's now a subway, so you you can't spot many trains from down there!
