Trains at: Stratford, GEML, 06/05/17

An excellent morning spent at the always busy station of Stratford on the Great Eastern Mainline where we see countless services from Greater Anglia, Transport For London, C2C and freight from Freightliner.
This station is always brilliant to come to as your always garuanteed something good and today was definitely no different as we see Crossrail 345006 working a test train from London Liverpool Street to Gidea Park.

Excellent video,mate. Lots of good action. Great to see the class 345 Aventra EMUs as they do look slick. In a few years Stratford will become an Aventra hotspot not just with the Crossrail 345 units but also with the class 720 EMUs that Greater Anglia will be using on their commuter routes out of London Liverpool Street. Always enjoy a class 70 roaring away.

In a few years time Stratford will become a brilliant station to film at because of the sheer variety in traffic that'll be passing through along with more freight trains, I'll never get bored of this station

I thought the Class 317s normally pass through Stratford without stopping when working the empty stock move to Colchester Depot, Ilford Depot, and back to London Liverpool Street and they normally work the London Liverpool Street to Hertford East and Cambridge services on the West Angila Main Line and sometimes the Class 317s work the Stansted Express services to Stansted Airport when the Class 379s were unavailable like when the Class 379s were working the services to Cambridge and Hertford East I thought the Ipswich services and other Services on the Great Eastern Main Line were normally worked by Class 321s also known as the Dusty Bins and the Class 360s

wow sounds awesome but i am used to all trains here lol so never spot or film here. My son and I are going for 2 days by train to groningen and maastricht because we always travel with our car. Husband doesn't like the train so it will be mother and son days :) Do you know where you are going too? I will say Amsterdam CS not because i live there but you catch most of the stock and Thalys and ICE. In Limburg Schin op Geul you have "het miljoenenlijntje" my father build that one in H0 Marklin. There you have steam also but Medemblik-Hoorn is near where i live there you have also steam. But watch the sites for information cause not every day they will ride. Our museum in Utrecht is not that much and is nicer for little ones...... (read to much money for almost nothing) There is a lot to do here(spotting and filming) :) Hope you will have a lot of fun here. I live around 4 km from Amsterdam Central Station in Amsterdam North Have a great week and look forward to a next suprise from you Greetings from Debby :)

the reason why Oliver was shouting "its not the Elizabeth line" cause he'd zoomed in and underneath the TFL stickers on the 345 was the original Elizabeth line logos

great video mate done a trip to london on Saturday myself got tell of a Liverpool street for taking pictures went to Humber of station didht telll them i was take or filming and did you have to sigh for film at Stafford ......

When I've been to Stratford in the past I've just started filming and I've never been bothered. You'll find that if you want to take pictures or film at any of the London Terminus stations you will need to ask for permission first. Otherwise you will find yourself removed from the station
