Good to hear you're back Will. I know it can be tough sometimes in life but as long as you have that thing to distract you or make you happy it's okay. Same happened when my Nan died back in 2013. Looking back I remember watching railway videos and your videos as a comfort and distraction. Come to think of it, you have been one of the first KZbin channels I've watched since 2012, back when I was 11. Ever since you've been gone I've fallen out of the hobby now and my locos have been in a box ready to sell on ebay. Now I'm 18 and moving to University, I'll be happy to remember the good old times with your videos once again. All the best for you and your family (and children out there). (P.S. let me know if you want any of the locos for a discounted price when I sell them in future) (P.P.S Thank you for still being subscribed to me ever since we met at the Bluebell Railway all those years ago)

Hello Will, I'm so sorry to hear about your recent losses and your health. It hurts like hell when you lose people that are so close to you, and there is no quick way around grief, it can and does suddenly and for no reason smack you in the face and you think OMG why am I feeling like this, the smallest of things trip you up and may make you want to cry then cry, but don't try to stop it . In 2017 I lost my sister very suddenly and without any warning and I still I don't get why she's gone. But the one thing that has helped was getting back into the hobby and it's guys like you and the other U Tubers that have helped to fill a horrible void. So with a huge thanks Will to you. Take things easy and I am looking forward to more videos.

What a year! Damn!!! Tough ain't gonna cover it. Like I've said to Everard Juncton, DaveClass47 and New Junction particularly, trains are your hobby, keep it that way, keep the funny and enjoyment, it should have be a business, a chore, or filling the "demands" of the viewer. I like many watch because we want to share the hobby, to be part of the ride, not to scream "where's the next video" blah blah blah. Yeah some will complain etc, but first and foremost, it's your hobby, enjoy it.

Oh man, this really hit home. My Nan on my mother's side died when I was a baby, so I never really knew her. My Nan on my Dad's side was the only Nan I really had. She passed away in 2006 while I was deployed to Iraq with the army. Missing her funeral was bad enough, but having to spend so long keeping it out of my mind to get on with the job was even worse. The delayed grief was so difficult to cope with. My family kept the ashes so we could cast them into the sea after I got home, that really helped with closure. My condolences on your loss, hopefully you feel better soon though. Grief has a way of turning from mourning a loss to remembering the good times with that person instead, given time.

It's not easy to do something like that, especially on the internet, which can be unfair at best. Continue to be strong. This video had me crying. Ever since I was little, Iv'e always had an interest in trains. I remember getting my first ever train set from Hornby and it was the GWR Cargo and Passenger set that you've reviewed. Then I stubled across your channel. Not because of the video of the train set I had, if anything, I saw that many years later. I ended up getting the Bachmann Class 220 3 car train set because of your Class 221 mini series you made. I have never said this and meant it so much that you are my favourite KZbinr. I have been in and out of the model railway hobby and have as a result, been in and out of watching your videos. I even noticed I had been unsubscribed from you! I did subscribe as soon as I noticed that! All I want to say is that you're the KZbinr I have literally watched since around the Class 221 mini series. I love your spirit, your strength, determination, entertainment value and just your personality. Keep on going strong, life has ups and downs but there is always light at the end of the tunnel!

I lost my Grandad just before Christmas last year to kidney cancer, I think there is a lot of people watching this video and in the comments who can relate to something like this and everybody will go through at some point, as you mentioned I do a lot of mountain biking and it truly does help with this kind of thing as it keeps you active and it's hard to think about anything other than what is coming up on the trail. In my opinion it's the best sport and helps a lot with stress and everyday life. I hope you are doing alright now and I send you my best wishes to you and your family. All storms have to pass at some point, please take as much time as you need to recover and do what you want to feel better. Again, we all give our best wishes to you Will, and good luck for the future.

So glad that you're back, have missed these videos. So sorry to hear about your troubles, but you don't need to explain, we can see how tough it is for you and we all understand, just happy to videos coming out again. Looking forward to the next video. (Edit) Oh and there is also the proposed coal ban threatening the full size locos!! Here's hoping we can get around it or stop it.

This will pass and things will get better. They always do. Your videos are a great help in getting me started with British N gauge.

Your Nan is still watching you... Never forget that, she can still watch you have a family even if you can't see her.. I just lost my grandmother and even now I'm going through the trouble of my grandfather having Cancer... We don't know how much longer we'll have him, love the lost as you saw them when they were alive, remember them for the fun and good memories you made.
