Q: What's a good way to get back into model railways?
A: Go and buy a new train! ahahah
The video is an IC82 first, in that I take the camera in the car with me! Join me as I head to Trident Trains to find a new train I'd like to treat myself to.

Northern's Pacers have to be coupled to a disability-approved unit (Class 150/153/155/156/158) until all Class 195s enter service. They were due to enter service in December 2018, but due to testing issues, their entry into service was delayed to 1 July 2019. Northern got a derogation from DfT to run Pacer units to May 2020. If you're wondering about Northern's Pacers. Have you seen the new Class 68/397/802 units TransPennine Express have?

@@InterCity82 Hi Will, great to hear from you. Helen and I live near Beenleigh which is half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in South East Queensland. We have family in Hampshire and Cheshire and our eldest son started working for Rolls Royce in Derby in January so we have lots of ties still with the UK and try to come over every 3 years. Should be over again in 2022. Hope all is well with you and that you can continue posting. Always enjoyed the old days and still watch some of the classics like the working GPO set review. I know how you feel mate. I lost my dad and he was my best friend. My biggest supporter and every single part of my life. That hole will never be filled and I miss him every single day of my life. When he was alive I was a prison officer. He’d be so proud at what I’m doing now and he’s not here for it. It’s a massive shame. I hope where ever he is he can watch me make a success of it and make him proud.

I’m not entirely a fan of the vlog style video but I believe that you should make the videos you want to make.
