Nice video. Some lovely rural countryside. I assume that less of Denmark's rural lines are electrified compared to those in Sweden?

Very little of the Danish railroad system is electrified. Despite that they decided to electrify it in 1979 its been postponed by lack of funding and general goverment incompetence and politics. The main IC trains Lines was supposed to be electrified by 2027, but the recent scandal with signalsystem may ruin that deadline too. so at some point the main Lines will be electrified completly, but rural Lines like this i don't think they ever will be.

It's a not that popular route, search up "Danish s-train" and you'll see some more people ;)

This is for the small villages if you want a ride you have to push a stop button .

Those beautiful and elegant Lynette dmu's... Though it is efficient, it's a decrease of local colour in the European railways if all dmu's and emu' show the same construction.

Not really, it's one of the most thinly populated areas in Denmark

It would, trains develop cities, cause people know the train will be there forever, unlike busses which can be cancelled the next day. Why all lines should be electrified, double tracked, speed upgraded, and in time, driverless, so we don’t have to pay drivers to drive the trains, as frequency increases, and it allows for 24/7 operation.

No need to double track it; to few people in these areas. At the time of the video it was already decided to replace the old diesel trains with Siemens Mireo Plus B battery trains. The first 3 sets should be delivered this fall. I guess they will keep their old MX to haul freight
