Thanks for the treat. The BNSF runs by the farm. In recent days, I've seen a UP, SP, UP package hauling those silver open hopper cars, a Citirail as lead engine hauling freight, an eastbound two engine pack from the CN, a west bound CN package hauling tank cars, as well as NS, KCS, Ferrocarril, CSX.

¡ Que inicio !, seguro que es íntegramente bueno. Lo dicho, formidables trenes, gran definición, un sonido impecable y muy buenos enfoques conforman un video de calidad superior. Muchas gracias.

What a fabulous video, and it was so great to see that very little of the rolling stock was covered in graffiti!

IKR I hate when they get vandalised, it’s sad to see such beautiful trains getting defaced 😥

Great position setup, sharp film work, camera angle etc., but, i really was impressed by the boom gates and the artistic class you employed by letting them make their own noise and then the peace and quiet. I used to drive Bantam class steam here in Oz and 45,48 class diesel. Love the sound of rail. Great work Spencer! Uncle Pete.

Excellent! You have a great eye for viewing angles, zoom timing and panning. Springtime in the Tehachapi Pass, doesn't get much better than that. Thank you, sir.

I was lucky enough to see it in person. When we went to CA to visit our son, he took us to a quaint restaurant and on the way back to his house, we saw this and stopped the car to watch a train that was miles long.

Outstanding cinema photography. Your zoom up on the train heading up the "Sand Cut" taken from Edison Highway (looking W) is just excellent.

Around the 7:00 minute mark was very cool. Living in the flat lands, I've never seen that kind of 'train' before. What also was very interesting was only three of the couple of hundred cars were marred with graffiti. That has to be a record. lol

1205juergen You should see the intermodal trains Canadian Pacific runs through British Columbia, The smallest ones are around 80-90 cars, going all the way up to 200-250 cars. CP also holds the record for longest grain train upwards of 8 miles long(I believe)
