While out at the west Quinlan bridge, I took the liberty of hiking westward for a few hundred yards, or feet - the brush was pretty thick in places - and shot some train footage beyond the bridge. Three more trains happened by, all of them eastbound, because they do get into these ruts sometimes, and I managed to catch each one from a different vantage point.
And as for the photo at the conclusion, there was a shortage of photos on the 19th, so I dipped back into a December collection for this one. The combination of bright lights at night, a moving vehicle, and a slow shutter speed can produce some very interesting photos of an abstract nature. This one happened to catch the sign of the newest Sonic Drive-In on the west side of Enid, OK. For those who are old enough to remember (which is probably everyone watching train videos), Sonic's byline back in the '70's was "Service at the speed of sound." I was somehow reminded of that when I saw this photo again.
