Thanks for the new location Les, it had me going to google earth to get the lie of the land. I was surprised at the size of the yards as I scanned southbound towards Carlisle.

The yards until the mid 70s were massive!. Its all flat land around there and dead straight sections of track. Glad you liked

Hello, Leslie. Glad you were able to get to the new locations as a change of pace. I think the first (Floriston) was nice, even with all the electrical. Black Rigg Farm Bridge had a nice background to present the trains with. Both offered some great backgrounds for the trains to roll through with your usual excellent eye for capturing them on angle and in space.

Great to see/here that 37 growling along. I guess thise nuclear flasks were empty? Loaded ones usually double headed by far mire modern traction. That HST-derived Pullman is very eye-catching.

In this case the flasks were being brought from the Brodie Engineering works at Kilmarnock after maintenance. Apparently there has been a contract with them to see to 40 or so wagons.

Good location, especially the one going over the overbridge into the yard. You get to see movements that terminate before the station.

Thanks. Yes some trains fro the north terminate whilst more pass through or head south. In an evening the southbounds can appear an hour or two earlier than at the station

GBRF 66726 was a long one - around 40 wagons in this consist / set .. rather unusual for the UK. Thanks for the videos Les. 👍

Thanks. It is a rather long but not heavy train given the lack of vehicles southbound. Even so the signallers must have fun if they need to regulate it.
