Great video... something different. Love that "pacing" shot.

CN pretty much shut down its operations in Thunder Bay, but they sure went hog-wild in Duluth/Superior! When I lived in Duluth I didn't live too far from where much of your footage was shot. Coming and going to town I got to see almost a constant flow of oil trains, container trains, taconite trains - including those being pushed up the hill - mixed freight trains, etc. It's no wonder that they had to double track that section. The project was ongoing when I first moved there in 2015 and completed not too long after.

0:34 Meanwhile, as a lone CN Intermodal passes by the trestle, the coal train we were looking for passes by. And at 5:58, a CN car horn manifest passes by.

Tunnel motor pacing FTW! I wonder why all that water vapor pours off the taconite trains, like in the beginning of the video?

Condensation from the hotter processed taconite balls from the mill as they ride through much cooler air along the ROW

CN wouldn’t know iron ore if they were buried in it. All that money to buy six miles of track.
